Brothers Neo and Zuda have their lives turned upside down when they're kidnapped and taken to a secret laboratory deep in the woods. While Zuda manages to escape, Neo is not so lucky.
They find themselves at the center of the political corruption of the state chancellor and a mysterious figure only known as Diablo.Content warning: Neo is not intended for young children! Intended audience is for 13 year olds and older.

Main Characters
Neo
Young and optimistic, Neo tries to see the silver lining in any situation. He came from a lower middle class single mother household. His dad died in a war, meaning he took up the mantle of being the "man of the house."
He's a natural born leader and deeply empathetic.
He's also an idealist and wishes to make the world a better place.

Zuda
Neo's younger brother. Thanks to his brother, he escaped Dr. Edogawa's experiments, but he harbors a lot of anger at Diablo and his experiments. Perhaps he blames himself for what happened.

Not much is known about her past before she became a cyborg.
Shy and reserved, but very friendly. She struggles to voice her concerns and opinions. She also cries easily.
Clunker
The oldest of the group, Clairs "Clunker" got kicked out of her home at a young age and ended up living on the streets before ending up in Dr. Edogawa's laboratory.
She's the mom of the group, much to the chagrin of Zuda and Imp.
She prefers not to talk much about her family because she was kicked out of her home.

Dr. Edogawa
Dr. Jamain Edogawa has no regard for the well being of Darks. He believes in the Prophecy of Doxa and thinks they're all going to burn.

Luka
A former scientist who worked under Dr. Edogawa. She's now working for the rebels, not wanting anyone to go through those experiments ever again.

Mokoto
A former government worker who got wind of Diablo's experiments. He left his family in order to protect them, not wanting them to get involved in his undercover conversations.

Checkers
A hacker genius who is able to hack into Diablo's secret experimental files. He's the only rebel member who has been with Makoto since the beginning. Him and Makoto are best friends.

Imp
Makoto's son with a rebellious streak a mile long. He looks up to Neo and Zuda, but shuns his father.
